Delete an online profile
- 1Open Bravio
Open You, then select Open profile.
- 2Open account settings
Open the account options menu in the top corner and choose Delete cloud account.
- 3Confirm deletion
Enter your account email. For a password-enabled account, enter your current Bravio password and confirm permanent deletion. For a Google-only account, choose Confirm deletion with Google and select the Google identity already linked to this Bravio account. Cancelling or choosing a different Google account does not authorize deletion. This removes your profile photo, online profile and every cloud backup and its password-encrypted data key.
Important: deleting the online profile does not erase local data stored on your phone, delete your Google Account, or remove Google Play reviews.
Remove local data
After saving any export you want to keep, use Bravio's local reset option when available or clear Bravio's storage through Android settings. Uninstalling the app can also remove local data, depending on your device and backup settings.
Local erase or clearing app storage removes the saved unlocked cloud backup key from this phone. Signing out also removes that key. Keep your separate backup password if you want to unlock retained cloud backups later. Bravio cannot recover it through an account password reset. Clearing local app data cannot be undone. Confirm that any export or cloud snapshot you intend to keep is complete before continuing.
Delete only a cloud backup
Open You, select Open profile, then select the backup you want to remove and confirm deletion. Other backups and the online profile remain available. After signing out or deleting the online account, Bravio remains available for local use and password-protected export or restore; older JSON imports remain supported.
Exported files and backup passwords
Files you exported or shared outside Bravio are not removed by cloud-account deletion or local erase. Delete those copies wherever you saved them. Changing a cloud backup password does not change passwords on older local exports. Deleting the cloud account removes the server's encrypted key record and snapshots; restoring them afterward is not supported.
Can't access the app?
No phone handy, or no access to the account's email from the app? Email support@braviocompanion.com from the address linked to the profile and ask for deletion. We may confirm the request from that same address first. Never send your password.
Request deletion supportWhat is retained?
After account deletion, local data remains on your phone until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall Bravio. A bug report you deliberately sent may remain until you ask us to remove it. Limited records may also be retained where the law or a genuine security need requires it, such as anti-abuse hashes.
Bravio profile content—including activities, Finance records, checklists, stored profiles, cloud backups, password-encrypted backup keys, profile photos, account-linked AI Coach reports, AI allowance and generation records, and hosted reward references—is removed with the account, apart from provider disaster-recovery copies that expire according to the provider's retention schedule.
Restricted non-content AI billing records retain token counts, estimated cost, technical request identifiers and outcomes for billing reconciliation and spending limits. Deleting your cloud account removes their account association; these records do not retain prompts, audio, transcripts or report contents.
Account-free coin reward verification records are identified by an installation-key hash rather than your cloud account. Local erase or clearing app data removes the private key from your phone. The server's reward and anti-abuse records are separate from cloud-account deletion; contact support for questions about them.
Installation-based Analytics, Crashlytics, and advertising records held by Google or its partners are separate from your Bravio cloud account and are not necessarily erased by account deletion. Turning off Analytics controls future collection; see the privacy policy and provider controls for further requests.
